Biographical sketch
Yann Ferrand received his PhD from the University of Rennes in 2005. He then joined the lab of A. Davis in Bristol (UK) working on the molecular recognition of carbohydrates in water. In 2007, he received a CNRS researcher position in the lab of I. Huc at the University of Bordeaux. He was appointed CNRS researcher director in 2019 at the CBMN institute (Bordeaux). His current research focuses on molecular recognition and self-assembly properties of foldamers.
